The Treasury Casino & Hotel in Brisbane will be known as Treasury by The Star as an interim rebrand and renamed The Star, Brisbane when the Queen’s Wharf integrated resort opens in 2022. The Conrad Jupiters Casino and hotel complex is located along the Nerang River in Broadbeach on Queensland’s Gold Coast. The Star Sydney plans to rebrand in March. Jupiters has been the casino of choice for many on the Gold Coast for over 25 years now and describes itself as the ultimate entertainment destination. “As a group we will own and operate truly world-class integrated resorts that will retain local identity but deliver consistently premium standards of service and experiences.” “Considerable research, including consultation with guests, preceded the move for change. It marks a step change in the way we intend to operate,” Mr Bekier said. “This is more than a change of name and logo. The new 17-storey, six-star all-suite hotel at the front of the property should be out of the ground by the end of 2016. “The room renovations will continue to crunch through and be completed by September when the last three floors will be completed,” he said.

Mr Bekier said a new garden restaurant will be launched, the main gaming floor refreshed by Christmas and the Atrium bar will receive a makeover in January. “We are not only spending money on the property, we are about to begin a new customer service program which will offer a true high-value customer proposition.”
